Biography

Sandra L. Phillips serves as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Integrity, Chief Legal Officer, Corporate Secretary and Chief Sustainability Officer for Toyota Motor North America, Inc.  Previously, Ms. Phillips served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Resources, Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, and prior to that served as Group Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Toyota Motor North America, Inc.   Prior to joining Toyota in 2012, Ms. Phillips was a partner at the global law firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius. She also served as Senior Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Chief Litigation Counsel at Pfizer, Inc.  Ms. Phillips received her Bachelor of Journalism and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. She is active on the boards of United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and the University of Texas Law School Foundation. In April 2026, Ms. Phillips became a director of Globe Life (NYSE: GL) where she serves on the Governance and Nominating Committee. Ms. Phillips became an MSA director in 2017.
